Pierwszym krokiem jest wykonanie zacieru według proporcji wskazanych w przepisie. Należy też pamiętać, aby użyć odpowiednich drożdży, wody i cukru. Dobrze przeprowadzony proces destylacji powinien dać nam dobrej jakości alkohol o wysokim stężeniu. Wszystko zależy też od użytych półproduktów. Jeśli zastosujemy , fermentacja będzie znacznie szybsza.
